Getting Back Into What I Love
First the Cricut, you all may have remembered that I was using the OG Cricut Expression. Maybe I was suppose to do maintenance, maybe it just served it's time, but the belt started making some awful noises and it quit cutting every area of the mat. I knew I eventually wanted to get a laser engraver (more into that in the next post) so I didn't want to invest into the Cricut Maker. I opted for the Cricut Explore 3 https://amzn.to/3tqwIT7 and OMG, I don't think I'll even attempt to get the Expression working again. It's kind of like upgrading to a new phone, who would want to go back to old technology.
Even Cricut Design Space was new to me, although I had dabbled a bit into it at work making some bulletin boards for school. I think the best thing about the new Cricut is not having to get your speed and pressure for cutting. I haven't even tried the Smart Vinyl ability... one step at a time. A few of my most recent projects are here along with a link to purchase the same machine I have. Speaking of craft rooms, check for an upcoming tour post of that also. Crafting gets me through the winter so I spend a lot of time in this room.
